man nigeria, lagos in particular, is quick developing.
we have ALL these new and wonderful designers from nigeria/africa.
i reckon in lagos whether it be Lagos Island, VI, or Lekki should have some (for example) called 7th street.
kinda like a 5th avenue in New York.
it should be a street where all the nigerian or african designers have their stores apart from the stores they already have.
that should boost the economy and give tourist a place to stop and acknoweledge nigerian designers.
im a designer myself adn what i saw is incredible. i am design for this show coming up and suppose to inspired by or using african fabric to use. i couldnt find much the fabric but this video really help me a lot of finding what style is HOT>

Your character is a Mary-Sue and you have no plot. You go on for two paragraphs just EXPLAINING all the incredible stuff she can do and how gorgeous she is, which is not appealing to the greater population who cannot dance latin, dancehall, and breakdance, speak many languages, and know various fighting styles. I suggest you make her less incredible so that people can really relate to her.

It sound excellent to me. One thing, you could try to describe the environment the characters are in. But other than that, your characters seem well developed and the dialogue is very fascinating.. =) Excellent luck.
it's ok. except that in university there are so many students that no one is really well loved or unpopular. i got to school with 30 thousand students. there is no way that all 30,000 could be categorized as cool, or uncool.
i don't reckon stereotypes and cliques is a excellent thing to build a book around, especially about the social outcast. it's been done over and over again. and i've never wanted to read about a character that felt sorry for themselves.
honestly if you don't like something about your life then you just change it. you dont sit around and wait for people to reckon you're cool. you either find new people to be around or you change the way you act. not sit in the back of an amphitheater. i don't know that was the last line i read.
I reckon you should try out out Forever21.com. They have a part on their website that offers you full outfit options. They also tell you how much the complete outfit is. They are ordinarily very affordable. Then you can see how they place the outfit together. They have so many affordable clothes there. Also, you should buy a few staple pieces and classic pieces. A couple pairs of jeans in a dark wash that are perfect for you. If you have to spend more money on these jeans, then you must because they are staples and you will keep them forever. Also, some black pants. A few skirts, like a jean one and a black pencil skirt. Then some plain tees in a few colors and some fun tops as well. Buy lots of cheaper accesories. These will make your outfits different and unique. After you have all of this, you will need a few pairs of shoes and a couple purses to end off your look.
If you need to save money on these items as you mentioned, Forever 21 is the way to go. Also, try out out sale and clearance items online at online stores such as the Buckle for jeans. Dont buy from the store they are too expensive for someone on a budget. Fantastic shoes can be bought from barefeetshoes.com! They are really affordable and offer cute options.
