2. One trick that always works is wearing a dress with vertical stripes and small motifs. Clothing with the detail line is the right choice for you to appear taller and slimmer. Similarly, small motifs that could easily make you look ‘less a few pounds’.

3. Pants or skirts cut high-waist would be perfect worn by people who have a curvy body. A benefit when wearing high-waist pants are able to easily cover a large belly. Add the proper belt for a more perfect appearance.

4. If you are fond of wearing a skirt, you should avoid extreme-cut skirt. As skirts are too short or too long. Short skirts will make your legs look thick and large, while the skirts are too long will increase the volume on your appearance. Midi skirt is the right option to look sleek and chic.
5. Blazer is one fashion item that must be owned by women, especially black blazer with a fit body. Blazer helps refine body contour and also slim. Likewise the long-cut cardigan which also has the same effect.

6. Do not take for granted your posture. Consider how to stand, sit and walk. With good posture will generate a higher confidence. Standing up straight will make you look slim and stylish.

7. One of the mainstays of weapons to appear slender and taller is to wear high heels. When you feel less comfortable with heels that are too high, you can wear in the form of wedges or platform heels.

I’ve seen a few nice evening dresses that I like, the first is this black ribbon dress, only £20 and I’ve seen a VERY similar version on the high street at a not so similar price… which is great for me! It’ll pretty much go with everything, a classic LBD, it’d be rude not to buy it.

There’s also this gorgeous navy blue lace dress, it has a vintage look to it and I love the sheer back, a very sexy dress. This is my favourite so far and it’s only £16, chiarafashion.co.uk has free returns too so if it doesn’t fit I can send it back for free! It’s a really nice colour and I can wear it all year because it won’t be too dark for summer, definitely an investment.

Overall there are some great party dresses, another favourite of mine is this zebra print dress- I love the power shoulders! It’ll look great with some shoe boots and maybe a biker jacket… hmm looks like I’ve got some decisions to make, no doubt I’ll find another gem soon, I’ll keep you updated!
