Hakaan a new young designer who made his debut at London Fashion Week last February and immediately stole the attention of fashion editors thanks to its design is fresh and edgy. Hakaan is a graduate of Fine Arts University in Istanbul, Turkey, and is the winner of Young Fashion Designers Contest in Turkey in 1998. When Singapore presents contemporary breath through a collection of urban-chic style and bring a range of world-class designer, the Philippines is actually displaying the image through a game of contrasting bold colors, exotic prints motive, and local touches that give a new twist on the term of contemporary fashion.

Fashion week held in Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Manila, is displaying a collection of hundreds of ethnic-style clothing, the elaboration of domestic designers who want to further introduce Filipino fashion colors. Each collection is beautifully presented in a condensed breath ethnicity, ranging from tribal patterned headdresses, jewelry with exotic ensembles, to dress decorated with beads and sequins which represents the glamorous image.

See all collections from Marc Rancy and Delby Bragais who want to demonstrate the natural beauty of Asian women. The design of the ditujukannya Rancy as a resort collection takes the theme “Romance and Seduction” which reflects the elegance and beauty of the women in the Garden of Eden.

“I was inspired from the story of Adam and Eve, but packed with more ethnic feel of the Philippines using local materials,” says designer who also use a variety of beautiful details such as the rosette appliques, ribbons, and drapes in soft colors that represent the image of the feminine.

Not much different, Bragais also wanted to demonstrate the exotic Asian woman, but with a more sensual style and daring. “This is the real Filipino woman,” explained Bragais.

Besides Rancy and Bragais, the Philippines is also a stage designer diramaikan by dozens of domestic and some international designers.
